REYN LAMBERT | FOUNDER
Reyn found yoga through her love and intrigue of movement and resonance. A life long ballet dancer and free diver, yoga was the only thing missing and eventually the yolk between the two. Dance teaches alignment, body awareness, flexibility, flow, movement quality, dualities of strength and softening. As free diving teaches presence, calm, breath awareness, body awareness and so much more. Yoga resonates with both in such a harmonious way, finding connection and synergy between the graceful practices both on land and in the sea.
In 2003, Reyn began her studies of yoga in New Orleans with Bruno Teyssandier. The New School University, Parsons School of Design and Eugene Lang Collage brought Reyn to the island of Manhattan. During her time in NYC, yoga became the rudder for life under the instruction of Isauro Fernandez, Lorren Bassett, KayKay Clivo, Yola Romeo and so many other wonderful teachers. After graduating and traveling, making it back to New Orleans receiving her RYT200 as life long student of Geoffrey Roniger and Richard Rosen. Reyn continues her course as a student as well as teacher. Continuing education at Open Space Yoga in Oahu with Mary Bastien and Tehlia Woosley, Reyn dove deeper into pranayama, yoga nidra and mediation, not only to nourish herself, but to bring back to the yoga community in New Orleans. Her classes emphasize a series of dualities, in the spirit of honoring the balance of life; strength & flexibility, energy & calm, movement & stillness, as the inhale and the exhale.
Find her on the mat or in the sea.
